Grupo Elbros began its operations in 1989 with the creation of Elbros Internacional, S.A. which establishes its offices in the Colon Free Zone, Panama.

From there, and over time, other divisions were added, quickly taking the lead in their different lines of work. Among the businesses covered by the group are import and export, worldwide product sourcing, retail stores and construction.
